From following antiquated web development practices (hello, tables!) to dealing with the whimsy of each email service's rendering engine (I'm looking at you Outlook), email development is a practice in patience. Hopefully this site makes your life a bit easier. Yes, all these templates are built with native HTML and can be easily used with any email service.
Are these email templates compatible on Outlook?
Yes, the templates have been tested so that they will render correctly on Outlook in addition to the other large email platforms such as Apple Mail, Gmail, Yahoo Mail.
Why does Outlook render emails differently than other platforms?
Outlook Desktop 2007–2019 uses the Microsoft Work rendering engine for rendering emails. Other platforms use a web browser engine.
Will the templates work across different types of devices (mobile vs desktop)? Are they responsive?
Yes, the templates will work across device types. They are responsive in the sense that content will stretch to fit the width of the screen. However, in order to support maximum platform compatability, we have decided to avoid media queries that will reconfiqure the layout of the email based on device width.
Do the templates have a dark mode?
Yes, there is a provision in the HTML for dark mode. As of now, it just changes the background color but it can expanded.
